Skedaddle is a song about escaping reality through interpersonal bonds.

"Do you want to get out of here?" references both physical spaces that feel constraining, & the overwhelm that comes from dealing with societal realities.

By getting lost into each other's adventure(s), we survive both this world, and our individual realities. It's also the expression of gratitude for the existence of someone who makes this world feel bearable.

Minko invites the listener to escape reality for a bit, acknowledging its harsh edges.

The song is a mix of hip-hop, pop, and house reminiscent of Kaytranada's sound.
